ABSTRACT
This is the era of science and technology. Great advances have been made in this century in the field of medical science. The aim of this paper is to correlate these developments with the teachings of Quran and the principals of healthy living laid down by the prophet [PBUH]. It is so remarkable to note that the sayings of the prophet in the early seventh century [A.D.], like the principles of cleanliness, eating and drinking habits, urination, defecation, marital relations, the use of mistake [tooth brush], sleeping habits, the use of honey, fig and olive oil have been proved now by the medical science to be best suited for health. An interesting correlation has been found between the verses of the Quran, the sayings of the Prophet [PBUH] and recent medical discoveries
