Epidemiological aspect of epilepsy analysis of 93 EEG records

ABSTRACT
The electroencephalographic records of 99 patients of epilepsy were analyzed carefully in order to investigate some epidemiological aspects of epilepsy. The results revealed that epilepsy is common in males. The incidence rate of epilepsy vary considerably at different age groups. The epilepsy is most common in childhood. This limited study also indicate that generalized seizures are more common than the focal seizures
