ABSTRACT
A 53-year-old woman developed a typical corneal dellen, a saucerlike thinning of the cornea or sclera, near the limbus as a result of localized dehydration adjacent to the hemorrhagic elevation of the conjunctiva. It temporarily responded to patching, but permanently disappeared when the conjunctival hemorrhage resolved
