This work aimed to study the effects of four different oxygenating soaktype denture cleansers and one common household hypochlorite bleach, used according to the manufacturers instructions, on the transverse properties, surface microhardness and microstructure of three different types of acrylic denture base resins. Results of transverse tests and microscopy showed that there is no significant differences between specimens treated with denture cleansers and the control group which was treated with water. It was shown that specimens treated with the different types of denture cleansers exhibited less surface hardness values than those treated only with water [control group]
