ABSTRACT
Intravenous immunoglobulin is a product derived from human blood that has been pooled from 1000 - 10000 persons that is present in each unit .IVIG has many uses and is an important treatment in many diseases. It has six PDA clinical indications and many off label clinical uses. It is used as replacement therapy [400-600 mg/kg/month] and as immunomodulatory or anti inflammatory at high doses [2g/kg/d]
