ABSTRACT

The authors report 67 cases of patients explored by echocardiography during the evaluative rheumatic fever period and study the modification of the echocardiography findings after specific treatment. 11 patients have developed an isolated and regressive left ventricular dilatation in relation with myocardial disease. Alt these patients wilt need to have a precise checking because they are exposed to valvular disease and to recurrences
