ABSTRACT
The purpose of this work is to study the pattern of testosterone, FSH, LH, Prl in thermally injured male patients. Investigations were done for 30 men with 10 ng standing burns and compared with healthy control volunteers. The chosen cases vary in age from 16 to 60 years, suffering from burns of 15-50% of the body surface area, and the duration of burns ranged from 1 to 12 months. It is found that FSH and testosterone levels in burned male patients are lower than those of controls, while LH and Prl levels are higher than the control levels. There can be a place for testosterone in management of several burned male patients
