ABSTRACT
We present a case of sinus tract at the upper lateral part of the left thigh after open reduction and plating of fracture of the proximal femur. The patient was managed as a case of postoperative chronic osteomyelitis of the femur. The sinus discharge persisted after removal of the plate and screws. The patient recovered completely after excision of the tract without interfering with the bone
