ABSTRACT
In 32 eyes of 16 patients with primary open angle glaucoma, we compared visual aculity, I.O.P., C/D ratio and central visual field with visually evoked cortical potentials [VECPS] or [VER] It has been found that, no apparent relation between the visual acuity and the latency of VECP, but there was a significant relation between the visual acuity and the amplitude. The rise in the I.O.P reduces the amplitude of the VEP. Marked alteration in amplitude and latency of VER have been demonstrated in patients with glaucomatous feild defects and large C/D ratio
