ABSTRACT
In the present study a total number of 93 calves were used of which 25 were healthy and others were diseased. The healthy group was used as control. The diseased group included 21 calves with diarrhea 32 with bronchopneumonia and 15 with omphalophlebitis. They were used to study the effect of the mentioned diseases on the activity levels of S-GOT, S-GPT, S-ALP, S-LDH and S-OGT. Definite changes either in the form of increase or decrease in the activity level of these enzymes were observed in the diseased group. Such changes were related to the severity of the clinical picture of each disease entity
