ABSTRACT

Bladder cancer is a public health problem because of its increasing incidence. The histological grade being an important prognostic parameter in evaluating mainly superficial, non-infiltrative, urothelial tumors, it is of great interest to define a reproducible classification that can be made available to oncologists, urologists and family doctors as well. New classifications have been recently proposed. They will be discussed here. It will be argued that the current classification is still valid and should be maintained
