Topical application of aspirin and aluminum acetyl salicylate [alexoprine] in extraction sockets in albino rats histological study

ABSTRACT
This work was carried on thirty six male albino rats. Extraction of upper right incisor was done for each animal. The animals were divided into three groups. Histological study of the healing of the extraction socket filled with aspirine and Alexoprine were compared with control group. This study revealed that healing of Alexoprine group was similar to the control group while there was a delay in the healing of aspirine group especially in the second and third week when compared with the control group
