ABSTRACT
This is a report of three cases of complications of acute otitis media. The first case describes coalescent mastoiditis seen in a ten-month-old infant, the second case is petrositis, sigmoid sinus thrombosis and otitic hydrocephalus seen in a five-year-old child and the third case is an extradural abscess encountered in a three-year-old child. The assessment, diagnosis and treatment of each case are illustrated and discussed
