ABSTRACT
although it is rare, the post-operative tetanus remains to be an eventuality that one should evoke in surgery. It can be seen after any kind of surgical Intervention, even the most benigns ones but with a clear predilection for digestive and gynecologic surgery. It seems likely that the contamination is endogenous coming from an unbalanced digestive flora with a contest favorising the eventuality of an anaerobes especially.
