ABSTRACT
In this paper the prevalence of violence and aggressive behavior, in relation to computer and internet use were assessed among male and female students of Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences Quetta Pakistan. Balochistan University of Information Technology and Management Sciences Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan in 2010. A total of 1020 students were approached for data collection, however, 533 were added to analysis, A cross cultural, based upon ethnic variety, randomly selected sample from the entire disciplines was included in the study. Five point Likert typed Questionnaire was used in this regard. Among four, two sub scales measured the level of prediction towards violence in relation with computer and internet use of the respondents. Cronbah 's Alpha Reliability on Sub Scales land 2 remained a=.906 and a-. 758 respectively and proved to be consistent. Data was analyzed using cross-tabulation method. The results yielded that the students of Business Administration showed some greater likelihood towards the activities involved to violent attitude wherein the activities which predict the vulnerability towards the University network system is found more among the students of faculty, management sciences.. This shows a significant trend where their behavior may be predicted towards violence and its related aggressive behaviors. The results have also been compared and discussed in relation to the international research perspective
