ABSTRACT
The role of the Fallopian tubes In the biology of conception is discussed. The study and follow-up of 86 cases of tuboplasty carried out in Shatby University Hospital during the last ten years [1962/1971], is presented. Follow up was only accomplished for 50 cases Hysterosalpingography could demonstrate patent tubes in 37 cases. Three cases not pregnant, but only one succeeded in carrying her pregnancy to term while the other two aborted at 3 and 5 months. In one case Right ectopic pregnancy ocurrtd for which salpingtctomy was done
