Traumatic rupture of the central tendon of the diaphragm and the pericardium

We are reporting a case of chronic rupture of the central tendon of the diaphragm and pericardium, in a Yemeni patient who was involved in a road traffic accident 2 years ago. This case is one of the rare conditions in which the trauma affected the central tendon of the diaphragm and pericardium [1]. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first reported case in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. All relevant literature was reviewed
