ABSTRACT
The application of evidence in clinical practice can lead to the improvement of quality of health care. Evidence-based nursing has been introduced as a method for the provision of health care services using the latest findings. In this process, nurses can use the available research evidence, clinical expertise and patient's function to adopt appropriate clinical decisions. It is shown that nurses face problems such as the identification of appropriate resources, and evaluation of evidence for the optimum search methods during the application of evidence-based practice.
