ABSTRACT
Two iridoid glucosides, auroside =5-hydroxy-8-epiloganin=8-desoxylamiide] and lamiide, were isolated from the water-soluble part of the ethanolic extract of Ligustrum ovalifolium Hassk aerial parts [Oleaceae]. The isolated compounds were identified by UV, IR, [1]H-, [13C-NMR and 2D-NMR. It is the first time that iridoids have been isolated from ligustrum ovalifolium Hassk
