ABSTRACT

Ilaj-bil-Hijamat [Cupping] is one of the oldest and effective methods of treatment in Unani system of Medicine. With the progress of contemporary medicine, no doubt we have treatment for many incurable or difficult to cure diseases but still we are failed to solve many problems. In such a situation, cupping may be tried as a mode of Regimental Therapy with successful results in a number of diseases e.g. Arthritis, Sciatica, Piles, Gynaecological disorders, Ear, Nose, Throat diseases, Nervous System disorders etc
