Skin findings in diabetic patients in Doha-Qatar

ABSTRACT

A preliminary study to find out skin conditions that affect diabetic patients in Doha, Qatar was carried in diabetology clinic in Hamad General Hospital [H.G.H.] where patients were examined by dermatologists and the findings were recorded on a special format. This study covered 225 patients out of whom 121 [53.8%] were Non-Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus [NIDDM] and 102 [45.3%] were Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus [IDDM] and 2 [0.9%] were not Identified
