Intracranial cystic meningiomas

ABSTRACT

Cystic meningiomas are uncommon accounting for between 2 and 4% of all intracranial meningiomas. They are subdivided into two subgroups intratumoural and peritumoural cysts. We report two cases of cerebral convexity cystic meningiomas. We discuss their diagnosis in comparison to other intracranial cystic lesions because of the better recovery of cystic meningiomas, which are benign tumours
