ABSTRACT
The author inspired the idea of using honey in the treatment of some external ocular diseases from Sourat El-NahI in the Holy Quran; the meaning of which I shall do my very best to translate "And thy God inspired the Bees, to take thou thatch, in hills on trees and in habitations, then to eat the nectar of flowers of all fruits, And follow the ways of thy Lord made smooth for thee, There cometh from within their bellies a drink of varying hues, Wherein is healing for mankind, Lo! herein is the portent for those who give thought"
