ABSTRACT
This study includes 22 cases of chronic osteomyeitis tibia with overlying soft tissue defects. The youngest age was fifteen and the eldest was sixty-five. Seventeen patients were males and five were females. In 10 patients chronic osteomyeitis [Ch.O.M] was a sequel to acute hematogenous type, in 8 due to open fracture tibia and in 4 patients it was secondary to chronic leg ulcer. All of them were treated by extensive debridement, sequestrectomy and fasciocutaneous flaps. The results were satisfactory in 18 patients [81.8%] and unsatisfactory in 4 patients [18.2%], with ecunence of bone infection in 3 patients and complete failure of flap in one patient
