Aims and Objectives: The rehabilitation of resorbed edentulous mandibles with conventional complete dentures can be a challenge due to presence of unfavourable local factors. This necessitates accurate diagnosis and knowledge of local anatomy, physiology and pathology as well as knowledge of the relative prognostic difficulties involved in the treatment.
