ABSTRACT

Background:

Acute myocardial infarction [AMI] is one of the most deadly disease of the cardiovascular origen. Older patients are more likely to have a "silent" or unrecognized AMI and to develop heart failure, atrial fibrillation, cardiac rupture, and shock, all of which are associated with increased mortality and a poor prognosis
