ABSTRACT
Cutaneous tuberculosis is a rare localization of tuberculosis. It occupies the fifth range among other localizations.Diagnosis is suggested by epidemiological, immunological and histological data and confirmed by bacteriological study. We reported here an observation of an immunocompetent patient who showed cutaneous gumma on the right axillary region. Cutaneous tuberculosis diagnosis was retained by identification of alcoolo-acido resistant bacillus. Familial inquiry revealed the same lesions in the son without any other localization of tuberculosis. The evolution was favorable in the two cases under antitubercular drugs. Familial inquiry is an important part in the care of cutaneous tuberculosis in spite of its low contagious capacity especially in countries where tuberculosis is still endemic
