ABSTRACT
Recently, a regional training workshop on laboratory diagnostics of Zika virus infection was held at the Central Public Health Laboratory of Jordan from 8 to 11 May 2017. The training was part of the WHO Regional Office' plan to enhance preparedness and readiness measures for early detection of Zika Virus Infection in the Region. The training was attended by 23 laboratory specialists from Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Tunisia and United Arab Emirates
