ABSTRACT
In this study, two programs were written in BASIC to facilitate the calculation of orthogonal function coefficients. The first dealt with the convolution process using the exact orthogonal polynomials for the first six terms. The convolution was carried out using 6-point orthogonal polynomials. The program can accept up to 80 readings, 17 points orthogonal polynomials at 1-3 intervals. The second was used for the transformation of the absorption curves using the comparative coefficients. The calculated values of Qj did not change, whether the true polynomials or multiples of the polynomials were used for the calculation of the coefficients
