ABSTRACT

Background and aims: Extended-spectrum beta-lactamase of CTX-M-type is considered as an important mechanism resistant to cephalosporin in the gram-negative patogene and is wildly growing. Enterobacteriaceae species are able to produce extended-spectrum beta-lactamases [ESBLs].
