ABSTRACT

Background:

In Iran-Iraq war, many militants and civilians injured in body and soul aspects. Posttraumatic stress disorder [PTSD] is one of the psychiatery disorder who suffer it. Studies have shown the 80% percent of veterans who suffer from psychiatery disorder have PTSD. It means that PTSD is a prevalent, often chronic, significantly disabling illness in them. Sleep disturbance and freqnent nightmares are core symptoms of PTSD especially in combat veterans
