ABSTRACT
Introduction and Objective:
post-operative shivering is a common complication of general anesthesia with a reported incidence of 40-70 percent. It increases metabolic rate of oxygen demand, cardiac output, intracranial pressure, surgical incision retracture and post-operative pain.
