ABSTRACT
This is a retrospective study of 8349 patients admitted to the various departments of CHU Hassan II of Fès, from 01/01/2017 to 31/12/2017. The vitamin D assay was performed by a chemiluminescent immunological technique [CMIA]. The normal value of vitamin D is defined by a serum level higher than 30 ng/ml, the deficiency is defined by a serum level between 10 and 30 ng/ml, we distinguished between 20 and 29 moderate insufficiency, and between 10 and 20 significant insufficiency and deficiency is confirmed by a rate below 10 ng / ml. The mean age was 48,74 ± 18,18 years old. This is 73.4% women and 26,6% men. Only 15% of patients had sufficient levels of vitamin D. 63% of patients had a deficiency, while 22% had a deficiency. The results of this study show that deficiency and vitamin D deficiency are very common despite the sunshine of the region of Fez
