Acute cerebellar ataxia in typhoid fever

ABSTRACT
Acute cerebellar ataxia is a rare isolated neurological manifestation of typhiod fever. Herewith is a case report with this presentation. The patients is a 17yr Iraqi male who had typhoid fever which was proved both by blood culture and the conventional Widal serological test. Full recovery was achieved by treatment with chloramphenicol
