Introduction: Mesiotemporal epilepsy [MTLE] is a clinical syndrome caracterised by the association of a history of febrile seizures, a homogenous clinical presentation of seizures, temporal interictal and ictal EEG recordings and an underlying pathology that is mesial sclerosis.
