Le schwannome du rein

ABSTRACT

The kidney schwannoma is a tumor developped from the schwann sheat. This tumor is very rare [0,9%] and the limited number of publications issued to this date on the matter gives evidence of this. The observing of a case of this type at the urologic wad of the Rabat CHU has allowed us to study this extremely rare disease. There fore, thanks to a literary review, we were able to underline the diagnostic difficulties the clinical, and anatomical - pathological features. However, the kidney schwannomas diagnosis is un anatomical-pathological discovery. The surgery is extremely important as to the treatment. The benign schwannomas prognosis is excellent because of the infrequency of the recurrences and the exceptional malignant transformation.
