ABSTRACT
Thirty patient with Cushing's syndrome were studied, clinically they resembled patients reported elsewhere except in the type of obesity, all our patients had trunccal obesity, non had generalized obesity. They ranged in age from 10-45 years with a female preponderance of 2.75/1. Polycythemia were not encountered, but hypernatremia was prominent. A.C.T.H. and cortisol radio immuno-assay were more helpful than the 8mg dexamethasone suppression test in differentiating bilateral adrenal hyperplasia from adenoma
