ABSTRACT
An epidemiological survey for the prevalence of simple goiter, in tehsil Murree, was performed. 12.6% of randomly sampled population was found to have simple goiter of variable degree. Female ratio was about 12. Of females, who had goiter, were found to be between 15 and 30 years of age, followed by those above 30 years.
