SJO-Saudi Journal of Ophthalmology. 1991; 5 (4): 200-3
in English | IMEMR | ID: emr-22204
ABSTRACT
A rare case of monostotic fibrous dysplasia in a Saudi male child is documented. The left orbit was affected; it resulted in non-axial proptosis. Axial and coronal CT scan showed involvement of the frontal bone, the sphenoid and the lamina papyracea of the ethmoid. Histology of the excised bone showed a benign lesion consisting of typical hypercellular stroma surrounding islands of woven bone
