ABSTRACT
One case of primary malignant lymphoma of the uterine cervix in 45 years old woman is reported. It was discovered at a routine gynecologic examination. After an extensive work-up for staging, the patient was classified as IE [Classification d'Ann Arbor]. The literature is reviewed and a number of 33 cases are collected. Bleeding per vagina is the most common clinical symptom, whereas the most common physical sign is diffuse enlargement of the cervix. Cytology of the cervix is only positive in 40-50% of the cases. Localized tumors are treated mainly by radiotherapy
