ABSTRACT
The authors report two cases of leiomyosarcoma of the inferior vena cava. Leiomyosarcoma of the inferior vena cava is a rare malignant tumor. It's clinical features are unspecific and depend on the localization of the tumor. The diagnosis is difficult and relies on ultrasound tomography, computed tomography, and cavography. Treatment of these tumors is based on surgery with adjuvant chemotherapy. Though tumoral growth rate is slow, the prognosis remains poor
