ABSTRACT
An in vitro study of the effect of bee honey and industrial honey was carried out. The antibacterial action of bee honey on all bacteria was so clear while that of the industrial honey was almost absent. Since, both types of honey consist of a high concentration of sugars, this proves that the aotimicrobial action shown by bee honey is not due to the high osmotic pressure of the sugar component
