ABSTRACT
Severe and long and strictures reaching the dentate line are difficult problem to treat. A "hut" shaped advancement pedicle flap technique was tried in 16 patients with anal stricture. It was successful in 15 of them with disappearance of dyschasia, hematochasia and rectal stenosis. Mucosal ectropoid was also corrected. The technique besides being simple, was found to have these advantages 1] It gives a broad and long skin flap, 2] It protects its blood supply, 3] It leaves no raw area minimizing the time of healing
