ABSTRACT
A clinical study was carried out to compare between the effect of interim tooth-attached denture and overdenture on the two m and ibular canines concerning their periodontium. Twenty male patients having two m and ibular canines were selected for this study. For each patient interim denture and overdenture were constructed. All clinical measurements were performed at the time of denture insertion and six months after wearing the denture. The results showed that the tooth mobility, depth of pocket, gingival crevicular fluid and the resorption of alveolar bone crest mesial and distal to the abutments were significantly increased after six months of wearing interim denture and markedly decreased after wearing the overdenture for the same period of time
