Differentiation, de-differentiation and re-differentiation of roots in rauwolfia leaf callus

ABSTRACT

In vitro Rauwolfia roots were differentiated via regenerated plant's leaf callus cultures, grown on WRC medium containing 10% CM and 0.1 mg/l each of NAA and BAP. The roots de-differentiated in part into callus, which in turn re-differentiated roots and the whole process was repeated by Rauwolfia cultures on a regular basis
