ABSTRACT
20 cases of idiopathic carpal tunnel syndrome were included in this study. All of them were females, aged between 25-40 years, had been surgically decompressed through a small transverse skin incision in the volar skin crease of the wrist. The procedure is simple, minimally invasive, safe, effective, cosmetically excellent and ends in a rapid return to normal activity. It is an alternative to the endoscopic procedure
