ABSTRACT
Praziquantel as an oral drug administered in a single dose is well tolerated by cases with compensated hepatosplenic schistosomiasis. No toxic effects were recorded and the drug proved to be of high Schistosomicidal efficiency. These results in Egyptian patients were comparable to results reported abroad
