Les accidents iatrogenes en milieu hospitalier medical

ABSTRACT

The authors report the result of a retrospective study of iatrogenic accident heppened during 194 hospitalisations in 8 months in an Internal medicine department. 43 accidents or incidents were counted [22%] 33 of medicinal origin [17%] and 10 due to the decubitus and hospitalisation [5%] The main factors were studied. The role of the poly medication in the occuring of the medicinal accidents is notified. The elberly are particulary exposed to non medicine dependant complications. The mental confusion and hospital diarrhea are frequent and serious in this condition
