Radial keratotomy: analysis of efficacy and predictability of 300 consecutive cases

ABSTRACT
Radial keratotomy was done for 300 Eyes with simple myopia ranged between -2 to -8 diopters, follow up for the cases for one year after surgery showed that the radial keratotomy reduced Myopia in all cases, 72.66% of all eyes were within one diopter of emmetropia, 25.57% of all eyes were undercorrected by more than. 1 diopter, 1.67% presented with over correction more than one diopter. The best results were obtained with patients of refractive errors between -2 to - 5.5 diopters while patients of refractive errors more than - 5.5, gave unpredictable
