ABSTRACT
Three Railletina Worms were recovered in the stools of 2 pigeon breeders in Cairo. They were suffering from long-standing asthma, anemia and eosinophilia. The worms were recovered after atebrin therapy. Similar worms were detected in the small intestines of some pigeons in the same farm. A number of cysticercoids were discovered in the body cavity of some beetles present in the cages. For confirmation, such larval stages were fed to young pigeons. Adult Railetina worms developed in the letters and were identical with those recovered from the human cases
